Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” is musical catnip.
The lonely piano in the beginning is all it takes. I hear it, and all else in this world ceases until I’ve enjoyed at least one chorus. It’s also physically impossible for me to refrain from singing along.
Impressionist and singer, Christina Bianco posted a video Sunday that showcases her singing “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” as NINETEEN DIFFERENT singing divas!!!
Watch as Christina perfectly apes Adele, Cher, Bette Midler, Liza, and MANY more…All seamlessly within one song.
The video has subtitles that name all the impressions just in case you can’t figure them out. Those of you who aren’t Broadway geeks might not appreciate her dead-on Patti Lupone/ Bernadette Peters/ Kristen Chenoweth, but I think she’s incredible.
The Celine Dion impression was my favorite, when she included Celine’s trademark chest-thump, Christina won me forever.
(Good Luck getting the song out of your head!)
