Remember G.L.O.W.? Watch a Documentary All About the Wrestlers!

Dearest Audience.

For years I’ve been your go to “heads-up” on everything awesome and worth loving. Sadly, I’m here today to tell you I completely dropped the ball. I blew it, screwed the pooch, missed the boat, kicked the meat rocket and generally let you down. Allow me to elaborate on the lurid details of my suckery.

This past Monday night, at 7:30pm CST, the cable channel LOGO premiered a documentary called G.L.O.W.: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, it’s ALL about the late 80’s Saturday television craze: FEMALE WRESTLING! Every girl who remembers any of the 1980’s recalls the campy and riveting G.L.O.W

YOU GLOW, GURL!

YOU GLOW, GURL!

The film was first brought to my attention awhile back when the producers were trying to raise money to complete it. Ever since, I’ve quietly scanned the trades for updates on it. Well, I didn’t do that good of a f*cking job, because LOGO snapped it up and premiered it EARLIER THIS WEEK.

You blew it, Cribsy!

You blew it, Cribsy!

I know. I’m an utter failure for missing the premiere for you, but I promise there’s a GLOWING end at the tunnel!

The good news? I’m proud to announce that not only is G.L.O.W.: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling,  repeating on LOGO TOMORROW MORNING at 9:00am CST, YOU CAN WATCH THE ENTIRE DOCUMENTARY HERE ON LOGO.TV RIGHT NOW!!!! FOR FREE!!

Can't wait to crack it open!

Can’t wait to crack it open!

FINALLY, I get to hear the background story on my favorites like, Farmer’s Daughter and learn what became of the precious island blossom, Mt. Fiji.

The Queen of G.L.O.W.

Shout out to LOGO for airing online for freeskies! Leave it to the fancy boys over at LOGO to know true glamour, beauty, and strength when they see it.

  1. I watched only because I thought eventually a top would get ripped off. Also, there’s not a lot of good programming after American Gladiators on Saturday nights.

  2. OMG! I was telling hubby about this the other day and he had no idea what I was talking about. I think I did say something like “that’s because you’re not a girl, silly.”
    Remember they’re 800 number?
    Love it!
