Today is a big day for our family.
Not only are we scheduled for a baby brain scan at 7:45am this morning, we’re also closing on our old house this afternoon.
This fine day we say goodbye to our “starter home,” the house that greeted me as a college student and has been my place in this world for the last 8 years. The people who are buying it from us are young and have a new family of their own. Personally, they could be a group of communist serial killers and I’d be just as happy. After today, we’re free of the liability that comes with multiple home ownership, and I for one, rejoice in that.
Unfortunately, we’re also testing Angry Baby for epilepsy this morning. From all the information and prep instructions I’ve been given, it looks like this is going to be a stressful morning for Angry Baby and yours truly. Sadly, only one parent is allowed in the testing with Valor. Today, I will bear this burden.
Tears, screams, general displays of misery and uncomfortable exchanges with hospital professionals await me. Lover Fo’ Life is off this week, waiting on standby in the event I need relief from my hardcore hospital baby-wrangling duties today.
What does this mean for you?
No doubt there will be hilarious tales of the humiliations and hijinks that await your humble (and devastatingly gorgeous) hero.
In the meantime, here’s a little medical related humor, I give you
DOCTORS WITH HORRIBLY UNFORTUNATE NAMES!!!
