Queen of the Office Hotties
Like many folks out there, I’ve casually been a fan of NBC’s The Office off and on for years. One of my favorite characters is Phyllis Lapin Vance, the mild-mannered sex kitten with a penchant for taking her co-worker’s abuse.

She’s a solid gold heartbreaker and married to her adoring Prince Charming AKA Bob Vance, Refrigeration Tycoon.
Mainly I admire her deadpanned hilarity, but now I have a NEW reason to love Phyllis. The actress who plays her, Phyllis Smith used to be an NFL Cheerleader!
Here’s a Photo of the Actress back in the 1970′s when she was a Cheerleader for the St. Louis Cardinals, which apparently was an NFL football team until the 1980′s.

Being a fan of Phyllis on the show (outside of Michael Scott, no one can be more cruel … the irony being that Scott is often cruel to Phyllis), I’ve always been torn about her age. She does not look 61.
