In a progression that should surprise no one, Snoop Dogg the doggfather, AKA king of smoking reefer is dropping a Regae album called “Reincarnated.”

Yes, this is a real thing.

Oh yeah, and he’s going by “Snoop Lion” now.

Here’s Snoop Lion’s debut track, “La La La.”

Not gonna lie, at first it sounds like your typical reggae. Of course once Snoop Lion starts rapping with his either genius or offensive Jamaican accent, the song gets hilarious awesome.

I think we’ve all dated a burnout who was super into reggae. In the early days of the relationship you would listen to their groovin’ tunes and actually kinda dug it. Fast forward to a few months later, you chucked them AND their copy of Bob Marley Gold, to the curb.

Snoop Lion, you know I love you gurl, but I just think we’re going in different directions. PS: If you see my personal hero and folk idol, Snoop Dogg, could you please tell him to come home.
